A booking desk on Market Street, and the plain facts about it

What this company is

Constant Travellers Bookings LLC takes reservations for airport parking along the corridor between San Francisco and SFO, and holds the space with independent operators who own the ground and run the shuttles.

That is the whole business. We own no lot. We run no shuttle. We employ no gate attendants. We carry no insurance on anybody's vehicle, and the operator running the lot is the party responsible for it. That sentence sits on the first screen of this site as well as here, because it shapes everything else.

Where the name came from

Two people who between them flew out of SFO something like forty times a year, and who spent a ridiculous share of that decade solving the same problem from scratch each time: where to leave the car, what it would cost, and whether the shuttle would actually turn up.

They started taking the calls for other people in 2022, and the name stuck because it was simply what they were. It is not a claim to be a travel publication, a club or a loyalty scheme, and there is nothing on this site that pretends otherwise.

What that means in practice

• When you reserve here, the space is at an independent operator's lot with their own gate, their own hours and their own terms.
• When we quote, we quote the operator's rate plus everything from the rates page that applies, itemised.
• When something happens on the ground, the operator is responsible for the ground and we are responsible for the reservation. The terms set that out properly.
• When we cannot fill a request, we say so the same day.

Who answers

Imelda Sarno runs the desk and picks up most of what rings on it. Anything taken down by voice gets read back out loud before it is confirmed. That sounds like theatre right up until the afternoon it catches a drop off written down for the wrong month.

There is no call center behind this number and no queue. Outside desk hours the line takes a message and the messages are worked in order when the desk opens.

Registered details

The California entity number is not printed above, on purpose. The state issues those in one continuous run, so a number invented to look convincing already belongs to somebody, and printing it here would amount to wearing another company's registration.

The web address is six years older than the company; it was bought second hand. Nothing on this site dates the desk from the registration of the address.

The spelling, since somebody always asks

The double L in Travellers belongs to the name and to nothing else. Every other word on this site is spelled the American way, because the customers are American and the corridor is in California.

What we do not do

• No payments on this website, and no card field anywhere on it.
• No valet handling. Nobody moves your car with your keys under any reservation we take.
• No parking outside the corridor described on the service areas page.
• No promise about the security of a vehicle, because that is the operator's arrangement and not ours.
• No star ratings and no testimonials on any page. None have been gathered that would survive a question, and writing your own is the oldest trick in this business.
